Grace Academy Nnewichi, founded in September 2024, is the brain-child of the Proprietor, Mr Chigozie Onwugbenu (Tokumbo), whose passion for education, godliness and moral excellence has been the driving force for this major investment in the education industry. In a world where our youths are growing up to be plagued with the "get-rich-quick" syndrome, and academic and moral absolutes are snubbed, Mr Chigozie Onwugbenu is committed to helping our children discover their purpose and moral direction in life. He is particularly concerned about grooming a new generation of future leaders with deep convictions and sound values that are rooted in God's word and hard work.
Grace Academy was born out of the love and passion of Mr Chigozie Onwugbenu for education in memory and honour of his beloved mother, Mrs Grace Onwugbenu, who was a passionate advocate of good children upbringing and hard work. As can be easily noticed today, not all parents are parents with the mindset for transformative and responsible upbringing of children. A peep into the structure and manner of trending parenting, you will discover that majority of parents are devoid of the fear of God in the early child upbringing. This is a major contributor to faulty leadership in all the sectors of the economy in the nation. Mrs Grace Onwugbenu believed that to change the future, we must begin early by shaping the early years of our children at home and school respectively. This philosophy means, if you want tomorrow to be good, you must impact positively on today's child who will in turn, effect positive change tomorrow. That is the motivation that powered the conception of Grace Academy.
